Dear Member,
As President I would like to take this opportunity to welcome both new and existing members to the Irish Taekwondo Union. (I.T.U.). The I.T.U. is the sole body responsible for the promotion and development of World Taekwondo Federation (W.T.F.) Olympic style, Taekwondo within Ireland.
The W.T.F. are the largest and most innovative Taekwondo body in the world and has over 20 million registered members in 120 countries. Most recently, the exploits of the W.T.F. have succeeded in securing Olympic recognition for the sport of Taekwondo.
The I.T.U. was founded in 1984.
